A perfect transition between the rich stouts of winter and the crushable brews of summer, our Black Lager starts with dark midnight wheat to lay a pleasantly bitter base with notes of roasted coffee and bittersweet cocoa while a deft blend of Citra and Hallertau Blanc hops lightens the finish with a subtle bouquet of citrus and tropical fruit notes. As March turns to April and cool, blustery days turn warm and sunny, our Black Lager is here to bridge the seasonal gap with a rich yet sessionable brew light in body but not on flavor.
